Got a call from some bloke saying he was from HMRC, said I had a warrant for my arrest. It was an automated message at first, said press 1 to go on and it all sounded pretty legit. Then an Indian guy got on asking for my personal info and telling me to jot stuff down. I asked him to name my current employer and he said he couldn’t, so I tried asking for my dob instead but got nothing. At that point, I just told them they should be ashamed for trying to con people like that.
