I got a call from 0151 743 2196 saying something about a tax office summons. They told me to press 1 straight away or else they would issue a warrant for my arrest and I’d be taken by the police. The message sounded really official, but it was clearly a scam trying to scare me. Don’t be fooled by the serious voice or threat - it’s a total con. Watch out and don’t press anything!

they said they were from hmrc and claimed there was some tax fraud going on with my name. they warned me if i didn’t press one i'd soon have a warrant out for my arrest!

Got a voicemail saying something about me being in a car crash that wasn’t my fault. I’m like, nope, that’s not true at all!

I waited like 3 or 4 seconds and no one picked up, seemed like one of those call centre type calls so I just ended it.
