I got a call like this earlier, with someone saying they’d got permission to call me because I gave my info to some ‘Toad traffic accident’ thing, which isn’t true at all. Near the end of the call, they mentioned it was being recorded - shouldn’t they have said that right at the beginning? Feels like they just bought a list or some automated system’s dialing random numbers till it lands on someone. I’m definitely planning to report these dodgy calls.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Pearl Healthcare. The woman started by saying, "I hear you've been in an accident," which wasn't true at all. Just one of those annoying calls that waste your time. I made it clear she was lying and warned her I’d report her if she called back.
