I was absolutely thrilled to see a call coming in from Liverpool, as one of my closest mates calls that lovely city home. However, my enthusiasm quickly soured when I picked up the phone and an Indian chap was on the line, attempting to dupe me out of my hard-earned cash. He went on about some supposed outstanding taxes and how HMRC was supposedly after me for a payment. What a letdown!

Heads up! Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC warning me I’d be arrested if I didn’t press a certain button. Sounds like one of those scams where they try to scare you into handing over cash or bank info. I’ve already let HMRC know about it. Stay safe!
