Phone number ☎️ 015097923500 👆 is reported as a persistent scam involving calls from an individual or group falsely claiming to represent TalkTalk or similar providers. Callers typically warn of internet or broadband issues, urging recipients to access remote software or websites, purportedly to fix the problem. The calls are frequent and repetitive, often multiple times daily, with no messages left on answerphones. Attempts to verify their identity reveal incorrect account details and dubious addresses, raising strong suspicion. Victims consistently describe aggressive or abusive behaviour if challenged, and warn others not to engage or provide any personal information. Despite blocking numbers, callers persist by using different numbers. New visitors are strongly advised to ignore these calls, refrain from following instructions, and consult their official service providers directly if concerned.

7 yearsReceived a call pretending to be BT, telling me to get on my computer and visit a certain website to install some software. Not entirely sure what the scam was, but it didn’t seem right. Just a heads up to watch out for stuff like this!BT9 yearsI got a call from someone saying their name was Alex Wilson or maybe Watson, claimed my internet was being accessed by others and that TalkTalk had to warn me. They had me access some ‘event viewer’ sort of thing and then asked me to install software via TeamViewer. That’s when I got really wary and asked for proof they were really from TalkTalk. They then gave me the wrong account name and postcode, so I pushed for their phone number and address. The address they gave was 81 Newgate Street, London, and the number was 012353 30174. Pretty clear it was a scam.Alex WilsonWatsonTalk TalkNewgate StreetLondon10 yearsLooks like Steve Watson’s stopped showing his number on calls now!Steve Watson10 yearsWe've been getting repeated calls from this number, with someone claiming to be from Talk Talk. They said our internet had been hacked from Malaysia and that they needed to protect our bank accounts and emails. They ring us almost every day, saying the exact same story! My advice is to just hang up and don’t trust them at all - don’t give them any info or listen to what they say.Malaysia10 yearsFor weeks now, they’ve been ringing multiple times daily. I don’t pick up numbers I don’t know, but it’s seriously getting on my nerves.10 yearsGot a call from a man with an Indian accent saying someone was attempting to hack into my Sky broadband and he could help secure it. When I told him I don't use Sky, he asked if I was with Virgin instead. I just ended the call there.SkyVirgin10 yearsThis number calls me like 5 or 6 times daily, like clockwork. I always see who's calling and just let the voicemail pick it up, but they never bother to leave a message. Honestly, it's quite irritating, especially when we're in the middle of something important.10 yearsThis number has been ringing me loads over the past few weeks, like several times a day. I don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t know. We’re on the Telephone Preference Service, so they really shouldn’t be ringing us at all.Telephone Preference Service10 yearsThis number has been blowing up my phone today. I accidentally picked up a call from it a couple of days back and got bombarded with a load of nasty words from some bloke. I just hung up straight away and then got in touch with Talktalk.TalkTalk10 yearsI've had this number ring me loads but when I pick up, silence on the other end.10 yearsI usually say I’ll just turn on my computer and then leave the phone on the side for about 10 minutes. After that, I pop it back onto the cradle. Feels like a small payback for all that irritation.10 yearsThis number keeps ringing me nonstop, like ten times just today alone. Not once have they left a message. The most recent call, about three minutes ago, I picked up and then... silence. The line just cut out. I'm seriously thinking about blocking this irritating caller. I feel for anyone else having to deal with this rubbish. Honestly, I just want to grab whoever’s behind it and give them a good shake!10 yearsI got a call from someone who sounded Indian, but she definitely wasn't polite - she told me to get lost! This kind of thing happens to me almost every day now!10 yearsTwice the call just dropped out completely.10 yearsI've been getting loads of calls like this recently, but none of them ever seem to go through.
