Got a call saying it was BT threatening to disconnect my phone over some illegal stuff. Weird thing is, it wasn’t one of those dodgy foreign numbers, it was from a Loughborough, Leicestershire area code. Bit suspect if you ask me.

Claims to be BT notifying me of an impending disconnection of my service due to supposed unlawful behaviour. The message instructed me to press 1 to connect with a BT technician or 2 to sever the line. Quite peculiar, as this isn't from an international number but rather a local one. I can’t help but think this should be taken up with the relevant regulatory authorities!
