2 yearsOn 13th April, my BT landline rang but I stayed quiet, and they didn’t say anything either. After a long stretch of silence and static, they just hung up. This feels really dodgy, probably some kind of scam. I reported it to bt.com/scams because this sort of thing should be illegal. People like this need to be locked up straight away. The number was 01509672568.BT2 yearsI picked up and there was complete silence at first, then a lady with a strong foreign accent said she was ringing from Microsoft about an issue with my PC. What caught me off guard was that she already knew my surname. I didn’t say much, just sarcastically acted all worried and surprised about this “problem” with my computer. While I was going on, I could suddenly hear her yelling “SHUT UP, SHUT UP”. That’s when I just stopped talking and ended the call.
