My elderly mum received a call from someone claiming to be from her bank. They mentioned there was a dodgy transaction on her account and prompted her to press 2 to connect with an adviser. Thankfully, she decided to end the conversation right there.

Got a recorded call saying "this is BT, you're using the internet for illegal stuff, your service will be disconnected! Press 1 to talk to an operator." I'm definitely not a BT customer, so it's clearly a scam.
