This number keeps ringing me constantly, sometimes it's silent but other times a guy answers. I spoke to him one time and he said his name was Sam Cooper, claiming to be calling from the Telephone Preference Service. He wanted to confirm my postcode and some other info. I asked him for his number since it showed up as UNAVAILABLE when he called, and he gave me a London number. Told him to stop calling, but he’s already phoned me back two more times.

Over the past couple of days, I've had five calls from this number - three times there was nothing but silence, and two times I didn’t even pick up. Since Saturday, this number has called me 13 times, and today’s Monday. I answered once just to give them a piece of my mind, but nobody spoke. Then earlier today I finally got someone on the line and told them to leave me alone as I was fed up. Despite that, they kept calling me 6 more times throughout the day. It all kicked off before 9 in the morning. Honestly, this has been the most annoying phone harassment I've ever dealt with.

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT about my direct debit. They asked for my account details and card expiry date, but I just ended the call.

The first call I just ended straight away. The second one asked if I’d received any annoying calls recently. I told them they were actually the second one and then hung up. The third caller was trying to check if I’d paid my phone bill by card, then changed it to direct debit, and finally claimed I paid with cash at the post office! Total scammers.
