01509383426 kept ringing me claiming to be from some debt help firm sayin they can clear debts I dont even have. I told em no thanks but they still kept calling over and over. Proper annoying!

On Thursday 7th July at around 2:32pm I got a call from 01509383426, which showed up on my phone as Potential Fraud. I've had loads of spam calls like this before, so I looked the number up online. Apparently over 1550 people have searched it and many are worried or upset, especially about losing loved ones or worse. These nasty scammers need to think about the poor folks they’re disturbing with these annoying calls - maybe that’s exactly what they want though. It’s like some kids messing about without any care for what their actions might cause.

They say they’re some kind of debt assistance service and have called me nearly 30 times this past week. I’ve told them loads of times I’ve got no debts, but they just keep phoning. I warned them if they call once more, I’ll start looking into getting a harassment warning. Right after I said that, they just hung up on me.

I asked the woman how they managed to get hold of my number and name, and she claimed it was from some loan company or an online signup I supposedly did (which I never did, cause I always read the fine print). When I told her to take my info out of their system, she went on a bit of a rant about me needing to be more careful on the internet (I was just rolling my eyes). I then found out they can’t hang up first, you have to end the call yourself. So I spent some time making sure she knew to delete my details, and she said she would, though I’m not really convinced she actually will.

I received a rather dodgy call from this chap who was pestering me about life insurance. It was definitely an unsolicited call, totally unwelcome! He claimed he could "review" my current policy and went on about how he had an offer that was tenfold better. Apparently, I’d save a bunch of cash if I went along with his proposal. What a cheeky scam!
