Got a robocall today from someone saying they were from the Payments Team about a supposed £500 charge for life insurance linked to Direct Line. The call followed the usual script about an unauthorised transaction caused by hackers, then telling you to transfer money to a “secure” account - which is just their way to nick your cash. These fraudsters seem to be using a bunch of numbers lately: 01902 844468, 07984 794641, 07984 607536, 07984 687105, 07984 787872, 07984 693436, and 07955 678668. Watch out for this scam!
