I received a rather unexpected call from someone purporting to be affiliated with the "Energy Advice Centre," claiming they had information about government grants.

I only noticed I’d been rung when the number popped up on the screen, even tho I didn’t hear any ringing sound.

Somebody rang saying they were with the "Energy Advice Centre" and kept interrupting me, trying to get me to hand over my details. I asked if she had a website I could check while we were still talking, but she claimed there wasn’t one. Then, I inquired about their location and she mentioned Northampton. When I asked if they were linked to the Government, she said yes. As soon as I told her I was going to look them up, she hung up. Seems really sketchy to me, especially with the dodgy claim about being government affiliated.
