Got a call from someone doing a consumer survey. The bloke was pretty polite, even asked for me by name which was nice. He said it’d only take 20 seconds (classic line, never true tho). I had to tell him twice I was busy, but he got the message eventually and just said goodbye.

Didn’t pick up, but they left a voicemail saying “hello ma’am hello ma’am” with no British accent then just hung up. Dunno who it was, really don’t wanna know. Thought cold calls were gone by now but if they’re still saying ma’am like that, they’re definitely stuck in the past. Another one blocked!
