When I picked up the phone, there was absolute silence on the other end.

Those outrageous broadband con artists had the audacity to impersonate BT Openreach, claiming to be from their tech team. They phoned me, insisting there was an issue with my internet service. What a cheek!

This morning at 8:27, they rang but didn’t leave any voicemail. After checking the other reviews on this website, I’ve decided to block the number.

Somebody rang me pretending to be from BT, saying there were 20 people leeching off my internet. I tried to catch him out, but he kept going and so did I. I ended up telling him it’s none of my business, it’s his mess to sort. The last thing he said was "don’t come blaming us if things get messy".
