Got a call from some guy claiming he worked for Microsoft. He said I’d picked up some dodgy software and they could fix it for me. When he asked if I was by my computer, I said yes, even though I was actually just making a sandwich! He said he’d connect me to a senior tech, but I just ended the call when he put me on hold. He called again, but I let it ring out. Pretty sure that annoyed them haha.
