I got a call from 01507 419283 at about 4.13pm on the 20th of January 2021. It was one of those classic Amazon scams - they said “there’s been an order on your Amazon account - press 1 if you don’t recognise it.” Thing is, I’ve never even had an Amazon account, so it was obvious nonsense. What really tipped me off was they didn’t ask who they were speaking to. If it were legit, they’d usually check first who’s answering, especially on a landline that could be used by anyone in the household or business.
