Somebody rang me saying they were from BT, telling me my internet was being used for something dodgy. They said to press 1 or 2 to talk to an advisor, but I just ended the call straight away.

They said they were calling from the visa fraud department, but honestly I wasnt convinced.

On 6th Dec 2023, this number popped up on my missed calls, along with a warning about a £100 transaction from abroad that supposedly went through. Pretty sure it was just another phishing scam.

This morning at 8:59, I got a call on my landline that I hardly ever pick up. Didn’t answer it. That’s like the tenth spam or scam call I’ve had in just a week!
