Got a call from some bloke claiming he was from O2, said he could cut my bill in half. Then he sent me a message and wanted me to read it out loud to "check who I was." I called him out on it, and he told me to F-off straight away. Blocked the number right away.

Got a call from some guy claiming to be from Currys, trying to sell me iPhones at a “special price”. He could barely get through that without chuckling. Had a dodgy call from someone saying they were from 3 network, trying to sell me a phone upgrade. Things got fishy when they passed me on to their 'accounts team' and started asking all sorts of weird questions to verify me. I ended up just hanging up on the first call which was from 02922715966. Some lady with a really strong Indian accent called me saying she had a special deal from Curry’s PC World. I was curious and asked why their calls come from India instead of the UK. She kept going with her sales pitch, but I cut her off saying, “I’m pretty sure you’re not really from Curry’s PC World, sounds like a scam.” She just said alright and ended the call right away.
