I picked up a call from a number I didn’t recognise, thinking it might be important. But when I answered, there was just silence and then the line went dead. Sounds like some automated system just confirming my number is active - probably got it from some data broker who sells details to these companies.

I picked up thinking it was someone I know, but it soon became obvious it wasn’t. Some bloke talking very fast started rambling about a car crash that supposedly just happened. I didn’t even waste time and ended the call right away. No way am I dealing with these lowlifes trying to con me.

I got a call from someone asking if I’d had any accidents. I just told them to buzz off and ended the call right away, then blocked the number. These scam calls are so annoying, honestly, something should be done to stop them.

Got hit up by another one of those insurance accident calls - this is the third time this month! I guess I must be accident-prone or something. Seriously, don’t pick up or hand over any cash, they’re total con artists.

Got a call today with a robotic voice saying something like, "We think you've been in an accident." Wasn't sure what that was about, felt a bit dodgy if you ask me.
