01506 881 414 - Received a call from what sounded like an Indian call centre, talking nonsense about turning off my internet. Pretty sure it’s one of those fake numbers they use to hide their real location. Best to just ignore and not ring back.

Got a call from this number just now, no one spoke at first, then I think I heard a ring and a woman said "Hello?" I was about to tell her she’s the one calling me, but they ended the call. Another one for my never pick up list. My block list is already maxed out so I just save the number under “Spam” with a note about it. Then I can choose to answer and have a bit of fun or just leave it. Most of the time, I just ignore them.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Benefits UK. My wife said she doesn’t do questions over the phone and before we knew it, the call was cut off. This has happened three days in a row now. Tried ringing the number back and it just said number not found! I don’t get why most of these calls come from folks with Indian or Pakistani accents. Then they act shocked when we don’t wanna give them any info. Why don’t they just phone their own family? They’ve got plenty of 'em here in England already.

01506881193 just rang me a few mins ago. I usually dont pick up unless i know who it is. After ringing for a bit, it just stopped. Usually, if someone’s legit and thinks they might have got the wrong number, they leave a message. That way i know who they are and if it’s important. If they dont bother leaving a message or calling again, its most probably a scam or not worth my time. So, no harm done really! Until my block list is packed, i’m not letting 01506 through again, oh well.

At first the call showed as intl, but once I answered it changed to 01506881193. Unsurprisingly, there was no one there when I picked up. I'll be adding this number straight to my block list.

Got a call a moment ago from this number (01506881193) - an Indian-accented lady on the line. She asked if I was getting unwanted calls, and shockingly, she knew my name (bit creepy). I never say 'Yes' to these calls cause I heard they tape it and use that as you agreeing to their offers!!! I told her I didn’t know what she meant and that I’m on the TPS list already, so what she's doing is illegal!! She just ended the call right away!!!!

Then told him I actually love getting calls and chatting to folks, which totally threw him off and he hung up straight away. Total scam.

Had no idea what the bloke was actually offering. Sounded like he had an Indian accent? When I asked for his company registration details here in the UK, he claimed he wasn’t even calling from the UK! Reckon he was pushing some sort of call blocking service, but his poor grasp of English gave me a good laugh for a few minutes. Still, it was annoying and a bit worrying because he kept pushing and really wanted to get my info.

Got a call from someone with an Indian subcontinental accent asking if we get odd calls. When I told her she’d dialled an office number and she oughta chat to our finance folks about the phone system, she was totally thrown. You could hear silence for like 20 seconds while she tried to work it out, then she just ended the call. Proper muppet.

This number rang me just a few minutes after I’d ordered a pizza. I thought it might be about my order, so I picked up, even though I usually ignore unknown calls. The call went on for 13 seconds: first 4 seconds of ringing, then from 5 to 7 seconds, someone shouted something that sounded like “It’s a wand at a price” real quick. Then silence until they hung up at 13 seconds. I'm quite sure because I’ve got an app that records all calls automatically and I listened back. The word could have been ward, wand, or wonged - I just couldn’t make it out properly.

Got a call from this number recently. The bloke had an Indian accent and said his name was Barry, claiming to be from Benefits UK, asking if he could have just a couple of minutes. I said I wasn’t interested and ended the call. Then, two days later, he rang me again but from a different number. Starting to think they’re following me or something!

My internet suddenly dropped and I got a call from someone saying they were from BT, but I’m not even their customer, though I do pay for line rental. After about 40 minutes of following their steps, they told me to buy a dongle! Took almost an hour for Plusnet to fix it in the end. Glad nothing got stolen but it was a right hassle.
