I got a call from a new number today with that same spiel about stopping marketing calls. When I told them they were actually the ones causing the bother, they just ended the call straight away.

some bloke with an indian accent called me, already knowing my name and promised no more nuisance calls would bother me since they supposedly blocked them all (not buying it). he claimed only mates, family, and my doctors would be able to ring me now. then out of the blue, he wanted to chat to my husband, dropping my hubby's initials and surname. when i asked why he abruptly snapped, ‘oh, shut up’. i got annoyed and shouted back, ‘did you really just tell me to shut up?’ before he hung up on me. seriously, who wants calls like that?!

I got a call from this number but when I answered, there was nobody on the other end. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it now.

been getting quite a few calls lately from numbers I dont recognise. left this one ring until the voicemail started and then the call just hung up right away. defo some kind of scam going on. gonna block it like the rest, but honestly they really need to be dealt with cause they freak people out big time.

I got a call from a woman with a strong Asian accent who told me the last three digits of my number and said I'd stop getting annoying calls, only real ones after that. She didn't even wait long enough for me to ask how much this service would cost, which seemed odd since her call was basically spam. Plus, she kept mispronouncing my name all through the call.
