This bloke said my internet was being used by others and offered to fix it for me! He claimed he was from BT. When I asked who my provider actually was, he said he’d look it up but got it wrong two times. Total con artist, honestly, he should be stopped.

got a call from a guy with a strong indian accent claiming to be from bt, saying my internet had some errors. i asked for a callback number and he gave me 0800 800123, which apparently belongs to bt. i wasnt convinced so didnt bother returning the call. seriously, they need to sort out this spoofing of local phone numbers, its getting out of hand.

got a random call from this number, didnt answer it twice and just blocked it right away.

he called and wanted to speak to the business owner. as soon as i said it wasnt me, he just ended the call.

Couldn't quite catch what the bloke was on about, and I'm pretty sure he wasn't calling from any local number.

got a call from some bloke claiming to be with some company i couldn’t really make out. he said it was about a car crash i supposedly got into within the past couple of years. i’ve never had any accident! my number’s on the tps so i’ve gone ahead and reported it.

Got two calls at work within 10 minutes from some bloke named Sam, saying it was about an accident. When I said it was a public sector workplace he was ringing, he just dropped the call the first time. Second time, he kept muttering stuff like "sorry" and "what?" Asked him to take my number off their list, hopefully that sorts it.
