Got a call from a bloke with a foreign accent, saying he was from Microsoft and there was an issue with my PC related to "hacking" or something like that. He said he was ringing from Reading and when I asked, he gave me the Microsoft number (03448002400), which seemed legit. But after a bit of digging, I found out the call was actually coming from Bathgate. He kept pushing me to check my IP address so he could supposedly stop scammers. After dragging it out as long as I could stand without it eating up more of my time, I finally ended the call.
