I picked up and heard this weird electronic noise, like those annoying cold callers make, then they just hung up on me. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

Got called by the classic 'Microsoft' scam folks. They kept going on about problems with my computer and all that nonsense. Since I run Linux, I’m pretty sure right away it’s a total con. Their game is to sneak into your device remotely and then maybe try robbing your bank details or something.

Another classic 'Microsoft' con job! They claim your computer's in a right pickle, droning on about issues, you know the sort. As someone who's firmly in the Linux camp, I can spot their nonsense from a mile away. Their endgame is to worm their way into your system for remote access, all to plunder your bank accounts or whatever sensitive info they've got their eye on.
