They claimed to be from First Call and said something about a recent accident, which is utter rubbish. The number's ex-directory and has been for ages, yet somehow they knew where I live. When I asked the bloke for his contact info, he gave me a fake name and address. I've reported the whole thing to TPS.

got a call claiming to be from some insurance firm about a crash I haven’t even been in. my number’s secret and signed up with the do not call list as well. they supposedly knew my name from someone else involved, which sounds like nonsense to me. definitely wouldn’t trust that lot.

Got a call out of the blue about some "small accident" I'd supposedly had ages back. Problem is, I haven't been in any accident at all. I quickly said, "No thanks, not interested," and ended the call. This is actually the third time this number has been ringing me up with the same nonsense.
