Got a call about renewing an Amazon Prime subscription, but totally unaware we even had one! Sounded dodgy for sure, especially when they vaguely asked what I needed and then pushed for a 'small payment'. Really worrying, imagine if someone more vulnerable got caught up in that.

Got a call from this number earlier. It was one of those automatic messages claiming to be from "Visa Debit," saying there was a £900 purchase. They told me to press 1 if I didn’t authorise it. Honestly, the whole thing was full of obvious red flags - totally feels like a scam to me.

What a nuisance! They gave me a rude awakening at 7:15 this morning. Don’t these lowlifes understand that even if I were gullible enough to fall for their tricks, waking me at such an ungodly hour is a surefire way to get an earful? Come on, if they were going to bother me, they could at least wait until a more civilised hour!

I received a call from this number yesterday, claiming to be from Amazon Prime. They were requesting my driving licence details, which struck me as odd since I don’t even use an Amazon Prime card, and I certainly never asked for anything from them ages ago. The first caller introduced herself as Victoria, and then a second one, Jennifer, continued the conversation for what felt like an eternity. It was rather irritating! I’m baffled as to how they obtained my number and tried to pull a fast one on me. I suspect it’s all part of a scam! I’m definitely looking to block 01506 301082.

They phoned me twice today but stayed silent when I picked up. So annoying. I’ll never say these calls are just Neutral; they feel harassing and sometimes even scary. Not everyone answering is young and sharp; loads of us older folks might be easy targets. These scammers really need to be put to a stop. J

Some bloke rang me saying he was from Amazon Prime about my subscription being about to run out. I actually do have Prime but I’m pretty sure they never call like that, and they just auto-renew unless you cancel yourself. The guy was dead eager for me to check my account online, which I reckon was a trick to get me on a dodgy site and nick my card details. I thought about wasting his time but decided I had better stuff to do. I can see how people might get caught out by this though - why can’t these scams be tracked down and stopped?

Got a call from a guy named Richard with an Asian accent, saying he was from Visa Debit. Said someone tried to use my card (didn't say which one, no number given) at my address (which he got right) to spend £300 in California, but they stopped it. Asked me for the sort code, so I just made one up. Then he said the fraud team would get in touch and hung up. I got my husband to record some of the chat and I’m planning to mess around when they ring back to see what happens next.

I just said I do have a computer, but That's all. It came through at 09:44 earlier today. The whole thing felt off, there were loads of bits that didn’t add up. Got a call yesterday and just now from someone claiming to be Virgin Media, total scam. Same guy but gave me two different stories. If they weren’t so far off, I’d pop round and tell ’em exactly what I reckon.

A guy with a male voice told me my free Amazon Prime trial had ended and that I’d be billed £7.99 each month from now on. I said I don’t even use Prime, asked him to take my info off their call list, then just hung up. After that, I called the landline 01506301082 again but blocked my number first - a BT automated message said “The number you have dialled isn’t recognised.” Looks like this’s a fake, spoofed number and definitely a scam.

Got a call from a guy with a thick South Asian accent who barely spoke English, said he was from Virgin Media. He told me my internet had been 'hacked' and he needed to talk about it. I said sure, but only if he could answer some security questions to prove he was legit. Not shockingly, he hung up immediately!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Amazon Prime. The woman on the line had a noticeable accent from the Far East. I expressed my uncertainty about their affiliation with Amazon and, feeling uneasy, I declined to engage in a conversation, suggesting they could drop me an email instead. I got a strong feeling this could be a phishing attempt. Since then, I've heard nothing more from them.

I received a recorded message from this number for the second time today-nothing came through during the first call this morning. The message claimed that there was a potential fraud involving £900 on my Visa card and prompted me to press 1. I disregarded it as utter rubbish and deleted it. Unfortunately, my phone is nearly at capacity, so I can't block this number right now. Given that Black Friday and Christmas are around the corner, I expect more of these annoying calls to come through. Nowadays, I simply let the phone ring; if it’s genuinely important, the caller can leave a message. No message means it’s not worth my time. This way, I'm in control of which calls I respond to.

I received a rather dubious call supposedly from Amazon, with a voice claiming, "Madam, you have an outstanding balance on your Prime subscription." Curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to engage a bit. When I asked for my name, they fumbled and provided the incorrect one. I then mentioned I neither had Amazon Prime nor access to the internet. Shockingly, they hung up! I've promptly blocked the number. It’s quite obvious they were fishing for sensitive information or banking details. Totally dodgy!

Received a telephone call earlier today from a woman with an Asian accent, claiming to be from Virgin Media. She stated that there had been unauthorised access to my computer and internet, indicating that my security was compromised. Having experienced similar calls from different numbers previously, I was immediately on alert and suspected it was a fraudulent attempt. The call had a typical call centre ambience, which can often be faked to seem authentic. When I mentioned that I believed it to be a scam, they abruptly terminated the call. I promptly contacted Virgin Media to verify the information, and they confirmed it was indeed a SCAM CALL. I've reported the incident to Action Fraud for further investigation.
