I got a call from these folks saying that since I’m over 70 and have health issues, I’m eligible for their bracelets that cost some monthly fee. I tried to tell the person I’m not even that old, but they just kept yapping and wouldn’t let me get a word in! So frustrating.

He asked, “Are you there?” and I just couldn’t say yes, so I replied with “I am.” After that, he just muttered “Well…” and then nothing. Guess my answer threw him off or something, left him speechless!

Had a call from this number earlier, they were trying to push some medical insurance on me. I said no thanks, but just checked the number afterwards and it looks dodgy. Now I’m a bit worried cause I think I might’ve said "yes" by accident somewhere during the chat. Really don’t want to end up signed up to anything shady.

Received a phone call from this number earlier today, and it was much like what others have mentioned. The chap on the line, who introduced himself as Sam, started off by asking if I could hear him clearly. He then launched into a pitch about a complimentary personal alarm, claiming it was because of some medical issues I supposedly have. I found it rather dubious right from the outset but allowed him to continue speaking. He maintained a polite tone and had a youthful ring to his voice. After a bit of him elaborating on how this alarm could assist me in case of a fall, I explained that I wasn’t in need of such a device just yet. There was a brief pause, before he said, "Alright, I respect your view," and then the call ended.

Got a dodgy call from some Sam bloke, said he was a medical advisor or something. There was a weird pause before he kicked off talking. Had a similar call ages back from a Luke. Got a call from someone claiming to be a medical worker near my area in Dorset. He was saying I could get an alert pendant because of some health stuff, but I don’t have any health issues. He just kept going like he was reading off a script even after I told him to stop bothering older folks. Ended up hanging up and blocking the number. Honestly, feels like the same scammer called ‘Sam’ that others have mentioned before.

It took a few tries to get the caller to hear me properly, which seems to happen alot with these spam calls using VOIP stuff. The guy said his name was Sam and claimed to be a healthcare worker in my area. When I asked what the call was about and which company he was with, he got all flustered and just kept going back to the same script line. Once he saw I wasn’t falling for it, he just ended the call. Seemed like an English accent, maybe from down South or the South West.

Got a call on my dad’s home phone with the same name that other people have mentioned here. Looks like one of those medical alert bracelet schemes. I rang the number back on my mobile (which I can block) and it showed up as some solar panel firm. Pretty sure it’s just another con. Received a call claiming that, due to being over 70 and having health issues (which I am not!), I’m on their register for a medical alert that supposedly costs £1.70 a week. This chap wouldn't deviate from his script no matter how much I tried to clarify things. It felt a bit daft, to be honest! I’m quite concerned they might be targeting someone who actually is vulnerable.

It’s been about an hour now and he hasn’t bothered calling again. Bit creepy really, especially as I’ve just signed up for an NHS diabetes programme and thought maybe it was them.
