Got this automated call from a bloke claiming to be with Amazon, saying my account was hacked and someone signed up for Prime, charging me £99.99. He told me to press 1 to talk to an advisor. I just hit end straight away. Tried looking the number up, it’s got a Lowestoft area code but nowhere else seems to recognise it. Definitely think it’s a scam, don’t fall for it.

Got a call from a woman with an American accent, sounded like an automated message saying I had to renew my Amazon Prime yearly subscription. She said if I had any problems or doubts to just press 1 to chat with an Amazon rep. It was pretty clear it was some sort of scam.
