I received a call from a gentleman with what sounded like an Asian or Indian accent. To be honest, I found it rather hard to follow what he was saying. He mentioned something about issues with BT broadband speeds in my region. Now, I do have BT myself and haven't encountered any trouble at all. The area code struck me as familiar since it's from Lowestoft, which made me somewhat suspicious about why BT would be calling from there. I had a hunch this was likely a scam, so I decided to cut the conversation short and hang up.
