Got a call from a bloke named “Jude Williams” at 8:28 this morning, sounded Indian, said he was from BT about my internet. I wasn’t very nice to him, to be honest!

Got a call early morning on 1st Feb 2018 from a bloke with an Indian accent, who said his name was David Wilson and claimed he was ringing from BT, 'your internet provider'. He kicked off with “how are you today ma’am?” - classic sign of a dodgy call. BT isn’t my provider anyway, and it was clear right away that it was some scam. When I asked what exactly he was after, he quickly ended the call - guess he knew I wasn’t buying it.

He just stopped talking as soon as I asked for proof he actually worked for TalkTalk.

Beware! Got a call from someone claiming they’re from TalkTalk saying my internet would be shut off for 2 weeks because it was supposedly hacked. I rang TalkTalk myself and they denied it. Don’t fall for it, just hang up!
