I got a call from someone pretending to be from my internet provider, BT, saying there was some issue with my connection. They claimed they could fix it if I just followed their instructions. Sounds like the usual scam to me, but they kind of made it sound like they were helping. Watch out for it!

Really dodgy call. When I checked my answering machine, there was just this one quiet, unclear word left.

This number isn’t saved in my contacts, and since they didn’t leave any message, I’m pretty sure it’s just another spam call... straight to blocked!

Sounds like a call centre for sure. I didn’t bother with it since I’m based in Central Scotland. The bloke on the phone definitely didn’t sound like he had a British accent.

I just got a call from 01502568005, which is a BT landline in Lowestoft. The person on the other end claimed they were from Microsoft and told me someone was attempting to hack into my laptop. Out of everyone, only two people really have my trust, and this bloke from “Microsoft” definitely ain't one of them.

Picked up the phone and there was nothing on the other end, definitely a scam!
