they claimed to be from vodafone but that wasnt right. tried to sell me an upgrade even though they had no clue when my contract was up. weird thing is, they somehow knew what phone I had.

I’ve received a trio of calls from this number, with the callers claiming to be from the Vodafone retentions team, promising early contract termination and a shiny upgrade. Upon ringing Vodafone directly to verify, they informed me that no such complimentary upgrade is available and that there’s no evidence of any outreach from their retentions team on their end. When I inquired about the use of an 01502 number, the so-called ‘retentions team’ insisted they were affiliated with my local shop, but I've not resided in that locale for over a decade and a half! Quite baffling, to say the least!
