they claimed to be from vodafone but that wasnt right. tried to sell me an upgrade even though they had no clue when my contract was up. weird thing is, they somehow knew what phone I had.

This number has rung me up three times claiming to be Vodafone’s retentions team, saying they could end my contract early and sort me an upgrade. I rang Vodafone myself to check and they said they don’t have any such offer for me and haven’t sent their retentions team to contact me. When I asked these callers why they were using an 01502 number, they told me they were from my local shop - but I’ve not lived there in over a decade.
