this person with an indian accent called, claiming to be from bt about my internet. i told him our internet was through someone else but he just said it didn’t matter. when i asked who he was after, he gave the last name of my mum who died back in 2005. i figured straight away this was dodgy so i told him to stop wasting my time and hung up.

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT, warning me my internet would be cut off unless I took action. I pressed 1 and ended up speaking to a bloke with an Indian accent who had me run a few checks on my computer. Then they passed me onto another person who told me to download an app and asked for my username and password. Luckily, my phone died mid-call so I couldn't continue. They tried ringing me back a few times but I didn’t pick up. And today they phoned again!!

I've reported this number to Ofcom because it's been giving me silent calls nonstop.
