Yesterday, i got a call on my landline from a woman who said her name was Veronica and she worked for the BT tech dept. I asked where she was calling from and she gave a london address which sounded legit, maybe even the BT HQ. But then i asked why she used a number from my local area. She told me they use extensions so the real number isn’t shown. Once she noticed i was onto her, she started getting rude. I tried to report it on BT’s website but their form wouldn’t let me finish unless i downloaded some dodgy software.
