Got a call round 11:15 this morning from someone claiming to be with fonehouse.co.uk. A woman saying her name was Maria, but she didn't know who I was and couldn’t explain how they found my number. She was asking for my card info. I checked with the real fonehouse.co.uk website, and they said the number wasn’t theirs at all. Definitely seems like a billing fraud attempt. Already put it on the TPS list.

Purporting to be from EE and suggesting phone upgrades, this seems rather dodgy to me. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a ruse to pilfer your banking details. Stay cautious!

Some bloke rang me claiming to be Adam from O2, offering a massive 60% off. He kept pushing me to hear him out, even though I told him I wasn’t feeling great. After a bit, I just said I couldn’t bother with nonsense when I’m ill and ended the call. Sounds like a proper scam to me, especially since they seem to be pretending to be loads of different companies. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.
