Got a call saying my computer had some kinda issue. I told the guy it was a scam and he just kept talking rubbish. I've had a few calls like this before. I know how to handle them, but I reckon some people might get really scared and end up losing cash.

This number rang me twice earlier today, but whenever I picked up there was silence, just some noise like a call centre buzzing in the background. I ended up hanging up both times. Even though I'm on the TPS list, these annoying calls still get through. Honestly, the government really needs to step in and put a stop to these pesty calls once and for all.

Got a scam call that turned quite hostile, though I didn’t hold back myself.

Got a call supposedly from Windows, told them straight up I wasn’t falling for a scam. Then the bloke went off on a rant about checking my licence or something. The number showed as Inveraray, but when I tried to ring it back, it sounded like it was abroad. Total dodgy call!

I got a call from someone with an Indian accent, and honestly, it was hard to catch everything he said. But when he asked if I owned the computer, I guessed straight away it was one of those typical scams where they try to get you to pay them to “fix” your machine. I asked him for his phone number so I could report him to the TPS, and he gave me a number that started with "203". When I told him I needed the full area code, he said he was calling from London, then out of nowhere said he didn’t have to give me his number and just hung up. Luckily, I managed to grab the number from the 1471 service. Don’t be fooled by these sorts of calls!

Got a call from this number earlier today, but when I picked up, there was just silence. I mentioned I was recording the call for fraud reasons and suddenly they ended it straight away. Better to just ignore or block this one.
