Just got a message saying I've spent over a grand on Amazon Prime and to press a button to sort it out. Problem is, I don't even have an Amazon Prime account! Seems dodgy to me.

I got a call from 01498709761 claiming to be from Amazon support. They said there was some dodgy transaction on my account and asked for my assistance to get my money back. They wanted me to install an app from the Play Store, but I didnt bother with it - it felt dodgy, maybe some kind of malware. When i checked my Amazon account myself, everything was fine with no unusual activity. My advice: just hang up and get in touch with Amazon directly if youre worried.

I've had loads of calls from different numbers lately, this one included. When I picked up, a recorded voice said it was Daniel from Amazon customer support. Pretty clear it's a scam, if you ask me!

Someone rang me claiming there was an issue with my internet. But when I tried to call that number back from a different phone, it just said the number wasn't active. Bit strange if you ask me.

I didn’t pick up when this number called, and they never left a voicemail either. Seeing how many times others have looked it up already, I’d say it’s likely one best avoided. Just ignore and maybe block it, honestly.
