Some bloke rang but wouldn’t say his name, told me my internet IP had been hacked loads of times and now it’s not “free anymore”. He wanted me to press 1 to talk to some ‘tech guy’ to fix it! Who even are these muppets? They’re dodgy as hell. Pressing 1 is probably just a way to get you on a premium rate line, and the ‘tech’ will want your card info to ‘sort it out’. Just hang up and block the number, these people are total scam artists and a right pain.
