6 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were my internet company, telling me my router wasn’t working right and that my connection would get cut off in a few hours. There was this annoying electronic tone and loads of music playing quietly in the back. They told me to ‘press 1 to talk to your internet provider’. I’m almost certain it wasn’t my actual ISP, so I just ended the call. No clue what might’ve happened if I’d pressed 1, but I wasn’t about to risk it.
