I got a call from someone claiming to be from a claims advisory group. They told me they had a cheque waiting for me but first I needed to send them an Amazon gift card. They said it was part of some government scheme for bank refunds. They also used these numbers to ring me: 01330 824797 and 01993 822980. Pretty sure it’s a scam.

I picked up and the person just ended the call straight away, so I went ahead and blocked the number.
