Got a few seconds of some indistinct talking before the call dropped. The following day, they rang again but hung up straight away when I picked up. Really frustrating when you're waiting on something important.

They claimed to be from Energy Solutions and said they worked with the government. Complete rubbish and a total scam. Got rude when I questioned them and kept calling back, which was just annoying harassment.

Got a voicemail from 'Energy Solutions' with a Welsh accent, matching the area code. I got a ring from a woman who said her name was Molly and was asking about donations for police training. When I began asking her more about it, she quickly got irritated, which made me suspect something wasn’t right, so I just hung up.

My wife picked up the phone, and this bloke started quizzing her about our personal details. She politely said she didn’t want to answer. But he kept insisting, so I took the phone off her and asked straight out what he was after. He told me his firm was working with the council to give away free solar panels. I told him I thought my wife made it clear we weren’t interested. He then said he didn’t appreciate being spoken to like that as he was just trying to help. I told him if he felt like that, he could just hang up. And that was the end of it.

I told them I don’t live there anymore and that it’s actually my parents’ place. They said they’d remove my info from their database. The bloke was quite nice, but I’m kinda puzzled how they got my number and other info in the first place.
