Received a call at 10:15 am on the 1st of July, 2019. It was a recorded message featuring a woman speaking English. She alleged that my BT internet connection-though I don’t actually have BT for my internet or landline-had been compromised by hackers and warned me that unless I pressed a designated key, my service would be disconnected within a day. I couldn't help but tell her to shove it-as if talking back to a recording would make a difference!
