Got one of those typical robocalls from some place in India claiming I'd lost £800 from my bank account. As if I’ve got that kinda money just lying around! 😂 I hit 2 to speak to someone and ended up hearing the same message again before a guy with a strong Indian accent finally picked up, sounding like I was interrupting his busy day of scamming. I told him so, and then he dropped a swear word before hanging up on me. Absolutely mad!

He mumbled so quickly she barely caught what he was saying, then it seemed like he hung up when he realised she was struggling to hear. It’s left her quite rattled, especially since this is the third dodgy call she’s had this week from different numbers.

My home phone rang and I didn't pick up, but they left a voicemail saying £800 was being taken from my bank account and to press 1 to stop it or 2 to approve it. I’m registered with TPS so shouldn't be getting calls like this. I rang the number back straight away but, as always, it was dead. What a load of rubbish from these scammers!!

My elderly aunt has been getting loads of calls lately from people pretending to be Amazon Prime. This is the third one in a few days, and although she’s been quite worried, she’s managed to handle it okay so far.
