Some bloke rang me saying he’d been in an accident and needed dosh for an operation. I just hung up straight away, it’s obviously a con. Who still goes about asking for money over the phone like that?

My elderly mum got a call from someone claiming to be from a nearby church, saying they were collecting donations. She trusted them and ended up sharing her bank info, but it turned out to be a scam. Absolute scammers!

Oh, these pesky calls keep coming! Just today some bloke with an Indian accent rang me up trying to push a laptop on me. When I said I wasn’t keen, he just started being rude and abusive. Proper annoying!
