Got a call claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. They had no clue what a Pixel 5 was and kept passing me around different agents. Pretty obvious they weren’t really Carphone Warehouse, but I had a bit of fun messing about with them.

Got a call from someone trying to pitch a phone deal, right? Then they started asking about my current provider and other personal stuff. I told him straight up I wasn’t sharing any of that. When I asked how he even got my number, he just suddenly cut the call. Plus, his English was really bad and the connection kept dropping, so it was hard to follow what he was saying anyway.

I got a call from a guy with a thick Asian accent talking about some offer on an iPhone 12. He kept asking what phone I use and how much I spent on it, seemed like he was trying to get info from me. Received a call from an Asian bloke trying to sell me a phone for just £10. When I told him to take me off their calling list, he started threatening to beat me up. I’m with a mobile provider here in the UK and trust me, don’t share any details with these lot. It’s totally dodgy. For starters, the contract price they said was way too low! Also, they claimed it was an EE deal but CPW hasn’t got any links with EE at all. Seriously, just block the number and don’t fall for this rubbish scam.
