There was no voicemail left, so that didn't give me any clues. I tried ringing the number back, but it didn’t seem to be valid. Does that likely mean the number’s been disconnected? Fingers crossed!

This person was saying my public IP is involved in some illegal stuff and wanted to access my Mac to look at the license number or something. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

On 6th May 2019 at about 4:07, got one of those dodgy automated calls about my internet being cut off, looked like another internet scam.

Got a call from some total muppet with a thick Indian/Pakistani accent claiming to be from BT. She told me my internet would be cut off today unless I pressed 1 to talk to someone or 2 to accept the disconnection. They’ve been ringing me with this nonsense for like 2 or 3 years now. Proper daft idiots, honestly.

The call came through at 4.55pm from a number I didn’t know, so I just ignored it and let it ring out. There wasn’t any voicemail left either. I looked the number up online and it came up as Dennis Rooney - Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles from Chesham Bucks. Since I’m based in Kent, I reckon it might’ve been a dodgy call trying to scam me.

Had a call from someone claiming to be with BT saying my internet would be cut off. I don't even have BT, so I just blocked the number straight away. Total nonsense!
