They mentioned they had information about my boiler, which apparently is more than a decade old. I decided to hang up at that point, especially since I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service and prefer not to be bothered. The caller, a lady with a British accent, claimed she was new to her role.

Got two calls from this number today. He said they weren’t selling anything, so I asked if the boilers were free then and told him to call back when my husband was around. Then I just ended the call and blocked the number. What a waste of time.

This number called me from High Wycombe but when I picked up, there was silence and then they just ended the call. I tried calling back a few times but they never answered. It's really frustrating, especially as I'm seriously ill and don’t want to be hassled by calls like this. I'm signed up to the TPS too, but it doesn’t seem to stop these annoying calls at all.

I picked up a call from a woman who uttered my name and promptly launched into a spiel about "we're contacting you on behalf of ESS." I was curious and asked, “Who are they exactly?” To which she replied, “We collaborate with Zanussi.” Before she could proceed, I cut in with, “How did you get hold of my number?” And just like that, she hung up! I intend to report this to Zanussi and the ICO. The caller was a British female.
