The moment I picked up the phone, I was greeted by a pre-recorded message. The voice claimed to be from my internet service provider, though they conveniently forgot to mention the name of the company. According to them, due to some so-called fraudulent activities linked to my internet connection, they would be terminating my service in less than a day. If I wished to discuss the matter with an actual person, I was instructed to press a specific button, though I can't quite recall which one. I swiftly hung up-this surely sounds like a ruse!

I picked up and heard a recorded voice claiming to be from my internet company, though they never mentioned any real provider name. The message warned me that my internet would be cut off within a day because of supposed illegal stuff happening on my connection. They said if I wanted to talk to someone, I should press a certain number (can’t quite recall which one). I just ended the call straight away. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!
