Received a call about some dodgy charges on my Amazon account. The caller said they were from Microsoft and supposedly a certified tech expert. They managed to hijack my computer and installed Torpig along with about nine other malware before I could cut it off. They used a local number (01494 715656), but kept saying their actual contact was 0208 123 6661. I’ve read loads of warnings about that number being involved in scams.
