I get about 8-10 calls every day, who even pays these idiots? If I want a deal, I'll go look for it myself, not get my work time ruined by these annoying interruptions - straight to BLOCKED!

Some bloke called himself Joel and said he was doing a quick survey for Circo or maybe Serco? He actually knew my name. I just hung up straight away. I’m on the TPS too, but honestly it seems pointless. I got 4 scam calls just on Thursday alone. I’m seriously considering getting rid of my landline since most calls I get are just dodgy sales or scams.

I've received calls from this number on two occasions already. The individual on the line claimed he was conducting a survey related to waste collection. He had a noticeable Indian or Pakistani accent, and the quality of the call was rather poor. I informed him that I'm registered with the telephone preference service and that I don’t engage in phone surveys, then I ended the call. The first time I was contacted from this number, the connection was dreadful as well, and it was someone with a similar accent, but I couldn't decipher what he was trying to say, so I disconnected. It's quite frustrating, to say the least.

Nobody said a word, just silence followed by some background sounds like a call centre. I ended the call and blocked the number with BT 1572.

This guy, sounded really rough like he had bad breathing problems, called from Future Thinking and wanted to talk to the owner. Total scam, just hassling and a pain. Best to just block him.

Annoying call aimed at older people. If you use BT’s 1572 Call Protect, just press 1 to hear the message and then press 1 again, it should stop that number from ringing you back.

Someone was muttering something about rubbish pick-up, then the call just dropped. I've gone ahead and blocked the number as a nuisance.

This person kept rambling about some survey or thing they wanna sell. I'm on the TPS list but they just keep ringing non stop. Honestly, I haven't blocked them just to see how many calls I get over a week. Someone please sort this out and give the bloke a good kick where it hurts!

Right away I knew it was a scam when they started asking about a survey. I flipped it around on them and said they’d reached the phone fraud team! They didn’t hesitate to drop the call!

Same old call every week. They don't seem to like my voicemail. Never leave a message either. They just wait till the machine picks up and hang up as soon as they know no one's gonna answer. I'd recommend everyone gets an answerphone and just ignore calls from numbers you dont know.

Had a hard time catching what the bloke was saying, but he mentioned something about conducting a survey on local services in Havering. I told him I don't do phone surveys and then decided to check this site out. Looks like loads of folks have gotten calls from this number with all sorts of stories. Smells like a scam to me.

Got a call from someone claiming they needed to speak with whoever handles the business's water supply. I just told them I wasn’t interested. Wondering if they’ll bother ringing back again.

Got a call at 11:15 this morning from some number, I picked up and they just cut off straight away! I swear I could hear some office sounds in the background, like people chatting, probably women. Strange behaviour!

I got a call the other day and all I could hear was loads of background chatter like it was from a call centre. The person on the phone was actually speaking to someone else and then just ended the call. I never gave them my number nor reached out first. Proper irritating! Honestly, there should be tougher laws and penalties from the government or Ofcom to deal with these cold calls.

Got a call from this number earlier, and just like someone said before, it really sounded like they were in a hectic office setting. A woman asked to talk to the business owner - I’m actually a partner here, but I guess that didn’t cut it with her! (Rude, innit?) She didn’t say what the call was about at all, and mentioned she’d ring back when the owner was available. We made it clear she needn’t bother calling again, and I’ve blocked the number now.

Twice I got calls and both times the person just hung up. Honestly, I’m so sick of politicians and Ofcom not doing anything about it. I really hope someone steps in and makes sure these people never get to own a business again.

When you get more than two unwanted calls from these lot, definitely report them to the police. The guy in charge is DAVID GRIFFITH, born 14/6/63. Got calls from this number a few times before and twice just today. They keep saying it’s not a sales pitch and that they’re calling for British Gas. Sounds dodgy to me, not the real deal at all.

On 17th July 2018, someone rang my workplace’s phone a whopping six times in just one day! Each time they just hung up as soon as we picked up. Seriously, when are the government going to sort out laws to catch and deal with these annoying pests and scammers? It’s ridiculous!

Got a call at 12:27 with a lot of noise like a hectic office in the background. They asked if this was a business line. When I asked what the call was about, they just said "sorry, wrong number" and cut off. Seemed completely pointless to me.
